Santa Rosa? No Trouble sir! that'll be $....How much??

I arrived in San Francisco on Tuesday evening a long but easy flight! Our motel for the first few nights is in Santa Rosa about 50 odd miles North of the airport. I'd met up with a couple of the lads on the trip, Mark and John at Heathrow and we agreed that instead of catching the shuttle bus from the airport we'd catch a cab and get to the motel to save the hanging around..
"Taxi"...you wanna go Santa Rosa?.. sure sir no problem that'll be $300 dollars!!
San francisco's traffic was incredible its everywhere bumper to bumper.. But the sights on the way to the motel where pretty good.

The cab driver was great and he took us to the Golden Gates Vista point where we took in great views in albeit in a tired manner!

So looking forward to getting my bike now, and setting it up prior the big off on Saturday.. all the bikes have been in a shipping container for the past five weeks, so next morning we're reliably informed that they have been delayed in customs due to x-raying! doh!

What to do now?..so in true adventure biker fashion.. we visit the areas various retail and business parks and go shopping!! and take in the area looking to kill some time and keep us occupied..
