Rolling Rolling Rolling

The bikes are here delivered to BMW Motorad in Santa Rosa California by a couple of elderly sikh lorry drivers driving what can be perhaps best described as a rolling piece of scrap! I think the two of them lived in the back of it!!
As we were all starting to see cabin fever set in and the lack of biking was becoming an issue and It was great to finally see these mumbian ice road truckers turn up with our steads...

The container was chocker block with the bikes the gear and the familiar smell that permeated throughout everything inside even the clothes and vacuumed packed items bore an, "eau"d toilet" of
V-power unleaded petrol!

Chips anyone?

The bikes were rapidly unloaded in about 45mins all ten bikes arrived with hardly a scratch and the  owners of the dealership sorted an issue with Marks bike and reprogrammed my alarm system free of charge! stopping all work immediately on paying customers bikes! seriously they couldn't do enough to help us real great customer support for us but we were glad this lot didn't turn up to collect their bikes that should have been in front of the queue!!

We got the full contingent of motor sickles back to the Hillside Motel at around mid-day and decided to take a ride out for the afternoon out to Russian River and follow on along part of the pacific coast and over Wolf Mountain enjoying some fantastic scenery!

Thats me.....enjoying
...the views and switchbacks on Wolf Mountain
iced tea anyone..?

So now for the big start on Saturday taking the Interstate 101 north for a few miles then taking part the route we took to Russian river where we head north/west up the Pacific Highway Through the Redwood forest to the town of Eureka..Tough Eh!!
