If you go down to the Loo tonight!!!!

After leaving Waterton the trip is now in its final stage...Four Night stopovers with a final push to Santa Rosa in Caliornia where we drop our bikes off for shipping home..Today we aim for  Hungry Horse in Montana riding through the Glacier National Park.. then Lewiston in Idaho tomorrow heading to John Day..Oregon, (no its a town..not someones house!), Following on to Klamath Falls near Crater Lake Oregon then to Santa Rosa!!

The road looks like a line in the mountain but it was full of road works and photo opportunities were limited.
The odd mountain here and there..

An easy day today 238 miles great scenery Fantastic Really good..and the temperature has changed its getting really warm now! we have been warned that this area can get seriously hot so camel backs at the ready!
The Land of The Big Sky

Timber wolf resort in the town of Hungry Horse is a RV/camping stop over! I'll not tell you the first impression of our log cabin! As charming as its looked the lack of in room running water and Air conditioning was not overlooked..

I had the top bunk! and it was sweltering during the night!
We had no real restaurant or diner close by so it was off to the local store for some barbecue stuff! Barbecue Time
  Steak!

We couldn't move after the meal..stuffed all of us!!
Mugs
.
Grizzlies were known to be in the area at night! Be on the lookout when visiting the loo!! the owner advised us... Stuff walking to the loo 300 yards away..And talk about force peeing through the outside balcony railings!
The wonders of Timberwolf resort bye bye..
We hit the road again
Travelling to Lewiston in Oregon
This river ran alongside the road for 100 odd miles
Really hot and beautiful

I love these signs stating the population
We stopped at this small place for a milkshake and a rest and waited for some of the lads who had got lost
It got extremely hot during the rest of the day and when we got to Lewiston 39 degrees in motor cycle gear.. pizza and beer the perfect meal!
A local brewery was a good change as well..

We ride on next day refreshed and a good sleep in a good hotel..yeah!

On the way to the town of John Day we tackled the Rattlesnake Pass Road a celebrated prehistoric area.
Got stung in the face by a wasp!
Hot tarmac blue skies
Unfortuantely this road led to John Day..
We stay at the American economy inn that night
say no more!
Crater Lake tomorrow and I'm looking forward to that.
ta ta..
